Ryuya and Natsu closed their eyes, and waited for the death blow. Which didn’t come. They looked up to see you standing calmly in front of Amane, hands calmly clasped in front of you, staring innocently at Amane, who was staring back in surprise, sword still raised above his head.
“NO! YOU STUPID KID! YOU SHOULD HAVE RUN!! GO NOW!” Ryuya yelled in anger and pain.
“Now the mission has failed! You idiot! You should have taken the scroll and escaped to finish the mission! This will all have been for nothing! Now we’ll all die!” Natsu yell

The rest of the day past without consequence. There were a few more attacks on your group, but they were easily dealt with. Ryuya received a small wound from a later attack from another group of chuunins, this time four from the rock country. But that, too, was dealt with swiftly and with ease. During the whole day, you had just stood off the side, excluded and unneeded in the battles. You didn’t complain.
